DIY Reusable Beeswax Wraps

Tune in with Lou from COOLmob to learn how easy (and fun) it is to make your very own beeswax wraps by participating in our virtual workshop as part of Seabreeze@Home. Reducing our reliance on glad wrap and other single use plastics is a simple way to decrease waste in the kitchen & when eating on the go!

To participate in this free workshop from home, you can buy a COOLmob kit from Greenies Real Food in Rapid Creek, they are $20 (cash preferred) and include 3 pieces of cotton material, beeswax, pine resin and instructions.

If you're purchasing your own items, you'll need:

  • 1 cup grated beeswax
  • 1 tablespoon pine resin
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil
  • 100% cotton material
  • Iron
  • baking paper

Register here for the online workshop link to be emailed to you.

This workshop is part of the Nightcliff Seabreeze Festival sustainable food & craft series.
