2026 NT Floods: Here's How to Help

Flooding across the Northern Territory has left communities in Katherine, the Daly River and surrounding regions facing significant damage and displacement. Evacuation centres are operating, homes and businesses have been destroyed, and some of the most remote and under-resourced communities are among the hardest hit.

If you want to help, here's where your time, money and goods will make a real difference. We'll keep this list updated as new needs emerge

  • Red Cross Australia (who have been running evacuation centres) is providing Psychological First Aid Training in Darwin on 31 March 2026. Sign up here.
  • Na Wulg Wulg Child Care Centre at Kalano Community in Katherine is seeking donations via a GoFundMe.
  • Daly River tourism businesses are raising donations via a GoFundMe
  • Dheran Young, MLA for Daly, is accepting donations of whitegoods and furniture for flood affected communities in his electorate. Please email first.
Contact: [email protected] or private message Dheran's Facebook page.
  • Merrepen Arts (Naiyu community) has a crowdfunding campaign (their fabric printing workshop has been destroyed). They do not have insurance because it is prohibitively expensive.
  • ANKA (representing Top End art centres) has put out a call to the public to support art centres, linking to different websites.
  • Remote Op Shop Project is raising funds to help NT flood-affected families access essential linen and bedding
  • Justine Davis, MLA for Johnston, is accepting food donations at her electorate office for flood affected communities.
