Join us for our Annual General Meeting 2021.
The topic this year is ‘no new gas’.
From the Beetaloo to the Barossa, both the Territory and Gunner Governments are intent on developing new onshore and offshore gas fields, despite the massive risks these projects pose to our climate. At the same time, Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) is being used as a smokescreen for these gas projects. Come and hear Jason Fowler – ECNT’s Energy Campaigner discuss ECNT’s work around ‘no new gas’ and the ‘Stop Barossa’ Campaign, and how it is more important now than ever that we remain focussed on implementing genuine climate solutions and not develop new gas.
Following presentations from guest speakers, the official meeting will begin at 6.30pm and will follow the agenda below:
- Acknowledging the Traditional Owners of this country
