NT EPA referral for Core Lithium - Project BP33 Underground Mine

We raise concerns regarding the piece way the development of Lithium mining is happening on a the Cox Peninsular.  It is difficult to assess cumulative impacts, particularly regarding draw down of groundwater from the Burrell Creek Formation, wastewater discharge and impacts on the community from increased industrial vehicle movements. 
We also call for an EIS methodology to assess the impacts on the Cox Peninsular environment, given the uncertainties on waste rock characterisation (PAF), water requirements, potential ground water contamination, and ensuring this mine is viable over the long-term so that the full back-filled rehabilitation can occur.
