Join our new campaigners Alice and Chloe to draft a powerful submission to influence water law and policy development in the NT. The Federal Productivity Commission are calling for submissions on the National Water Initiative before 2 February. The NWI establishes a framework for water law and planning in each State and Territory.  

Priority areas for reform include ensuring climate change is incorporated into water planning and improving frameworks for the involvement of First Nations peoples in water management.  

We need a strong response from the NT community to ensure that we put the unique water governance issues in the Territory on the Federal government's agenda. We're calling for improved water laws and policies that promote a healthy environment and ensure that First Nations communities are meaningfully involved in water decision-making.
