Last year, we hosted a webinar about Inpex's plans to build the world's largest carbon dumping project off the coast of the NT.
Many of you wrote submissions in response to referral of this project under Federal environment laws - and now it's set to be assessed under NT legislation. This provides an opportunity to scrutinise not just the environmental impacts of this project, but also the risks to air quality and human health.
We need to keep up the pressure on this toxic project.
Offshore carbon dumping has never been approved in Australia, and it should never be allowed to start.
There'll be opportunities to either make a formal submission to the NT EPA, sign the petition, or share your views with the media.
When: Tuesday 27 January at 6pm ACST
With so much at stake, we need your help to stop big gas polluters from dumping on the NT, and to protect our oceans and the climate for future generations.
