The Territory election is on 22nd August, 2020. It's a fantastic opportunity to shape the public conversation and put renewables, climate and a frack-free future top of the agenda. 

With the Territory beleaguered by economic woes, it’s vital all candidates commit to a renewables-powered NT. It’s only through a transition to renewable energy will we create thousands of local jobs, generate strong investment in Territory businesses, empower communities to generate low-cost energy, and dramatically lower household bills.  

And an investment of just 10 gigawatts of renewables by 2030 in the NT would prevent over 20 billion tonnes of carbon emissions from entering the atmosphere. 

But we can’t do it without you. Whether you've volunteered in elections previously, or you’re simply curious to learn more, join us at the Club House of the Darwin Sailing Club on December 7 for a morning of election campaign planning.
