Host a Climate Conversation
Most Australians are concerned about climate change, but are confused and overwhelmed - they don't know how Australia should respond or what they can do.
Territorians are no different, we want to protect the natural environment and way of life that we know and love. We want to keep this place special and look after the climate and culture that helps this place thrive.
Helping people find a way to respond to the climate crisis is important. Social research shows that we make sense of confusing information and decide what to do about it through conversations with people we know and trust.
Climate Conversations are quality discussions about climate change and are modelled to happen at scale, to help shift the conversation on climate change in the Territory, rapidly.
A Climate Conversation starts with a Host who invites their friends to their home for a discussion, lead by a trained Facilitator. At the end of the conversation we invite participants to take further action on climate change. We also invite participants to host their own Climate Conversation with their friends, to help us create a groundswell of support for climate action in the NT.
*Climate Conversations can also be delivered remotely via Zoom*
Hosting is a simple and effective was to share a quality discussion about climate change with your friends, and you'll be supported by a trained Facilitator all the way.
*We also deliver specially tailored Climate Conversations for schools and workplaces*
