Join us for our family friendly screening of Peanut Butter Falcon, at the Deckchair Cinema for our annual fundraiser in partnership with United Nations Association of Australia, NT branch, celebrating World Environment Day. This year's theme is 'biodiversity' and all funds raised will go towards ECNT's carbon footprint education project, facilitating tree planting.
The evening will begin with inspiring talks on how to take action locally to help Darwin's biodiversity flourish, followed by a raffle with fabulous prizes including a native beehive donated by bijou urban apiaries, Hexagram Bees, delicious dinner by Hanuman Restaurant and a cake stall.
Due to Covid-19 there is limited seating available, with only 200 seats available. Don't miss out - book your ticket online.
Check out the World Environment Day website for more information on why biodiversity is so important and how individuals, businesses, industry and governments can contribute to positive changes.
If you can't make this event but would like to support the work of the Environment Centre NT, empowering us to respond to current and emerging environmental threats, consider becoming a Territory Guardian by joining our monthly donor program, or making a one-off donation.
