After six incredible years standing up for Australia's ‘best bloody nature’, the indomitable Kirsty Howey is farewelling Environment Centre NT.  

Kirsty has fearlessly and forensically taken on frackers, miners, big ag bosses, wavering regulators and weak laws, determined to protect the lands, waters and people of the NT.  

Her achievements are too numerous to list, but it's safe to say this special place we call home, is better off because of Kirsty's tireless efforts.  

On behalf of the ECNT board and staff, we invite you to join us in celebrating Kirsty’s exceptional leadership and wishing her well.  

We congratulate her on her exceptional record standing up for the Territory's nature, and now she will continue this advocacy in her new national role as CEO of the Wilderness Society.
