Volunteer Positions


This position would involve lending or developing your skills to assist the Environment Centre NT with key tasks including answering the phones, shipping books and merchandise and a variety of other administrative tasks. 

Time Commitment - Flexible time commitment suited to your availability. 

Bush Walks with Andy and Dave - Assistant

The brilliant Andy Peart and Dave Liddle have begun hosting trips which aren't tours, but private excursions to the bush to raise money for the work of the Environment Centre NT.

They are on the hunt for a dynamic and enthusiastic volunteer who is interested in Ecology and/or Media who would be eager to assist with the hosting of trips and future webinar production.

This is an exciting opportunity as Trek #2 to Kakadu  from 27-30 August 2021 is currently waitlisted. 

Time Commitment - To be negotiated with Andy and Dave. 

Market Stalls, Events and Workshops

If you are interested in volunteering casually with Environment Centre NT. Helping out with markets stalls, events and workshops is always a fun way to engage with Environment Centre NT's broader community and do you part to care for our beautiful environment.

  • Write submissions to proposed new laws, draft policies or proposed developments.
  • Write letters to the editor of key newspapers.
