This year at ECNT, we have been inspired by thousands of Territorians – like you - standing up like never before to defend our stunning natural and cultural values.
Whether it’s attending a rally to save the Gouldian Finches at Lee Point, sending submissions to decision-makers on land clearing in the Katherine region, completing surveys about how our biodiversity needs better protections, or personally calling our Ministers’ offices to stop huge water allocations from going ahead, Territorians are making it clear to decision-makers across Australia that our nature is worth protecting.
To celebrate an amazing year of action, we are hosting a panel discussion with some incredible leaders in the nature space at the Botanic Gardens on 8 December 2022 from 6.00pm onwards.
We are so excited to be joined by the following panel:The event will be a wonderful opportunity to hear from experts doing all that they can to share the unique value of the Territory's Nature.
We are also excited to launch our new campaign for better Nature Laws in the Northern Territory, including the release of the report “Our Nature Our Future: the case for next generation biodiversity laws for the Northern Territory” and the results of our Nature Protections Survey.
To finish off the year, we hope this event will be a night of information and celebration with a spread of food and refreshments at the beautiful Botanic Gardens Event Centre.
