What to expect:

Assessment options discussion - explore how this project should be evaluated
Your concerns heard - ask questions and share feedback with fellow residents.

Expert speakers:
🎤 Kirsty Howey - Environment Centre NT Executive Director

ECNT believes all projects should be subject to rigorous assessment of their environment impacts, so we encourage everyone to make a submission before consultation closes on 17 July 2025.

Fracking pipeline

Infrastructure NT has released a map of the proposed route for the 670km Territory Energy Link pipeline corridor. The pipeline will connect fracking wells in the Beetaloo Sub-basin to the Middle Arm petrochemical hub. Many rural residents already impacted by the Amadeus Pipeline (from Tennant Creek to Darwin) are concerned about another pipeline that will benefit the gas industry and not Territorians.
