Join us for a powerful event featuring NT Traditional Owners and Territorians who will share what these dangerous gas projects mean for their communities—and how you can stand in solidarity here in Victoria.
🔥 Why it matters: Much of the NT is predicted to be unliveable before the end of the century due to climate impacts, and the Federal Government is considering a $1.9 billion gas hub in Darwin, while failing to stop fracking in the Beetaloo Basin. Victorians banned fracking because we know the dangers—now it's time to support communities in the NT who are fighting to do the same.
Please note that this event is organised in collaboration with the Beyond Gas Network - a volunteer network of grassroots climate action networks that originated in the east and south east of Melbourne. By RSVPing for this event you will receive updates from the Beyond Gas Network and local climate groups about activities in your area and the campaign. You can unsubscribe to opt out at any time.

This event will take place on the stolen lands of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. We pay respects to their Elders past, present and emerging and acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded. We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the land, water and skies, and their ongoing resistance to the impacts of colonisation. There can be no climate justice without First Nations justice.
